So if you’re into exports and eager to expand your knowledge or learn about how to increase your competitiveness, here is some good news. The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export marketing arm of the Department of Trade and Industry, has launched its “Export Coaching Program” in order to provide exporters with the tools to improve their product and market readiness. Its first seminar, “Boost Camp” will tackle issues on Cultivating the Export Mindset, Marketing and Branding, Pocket Business Planning, Export Pricing and Costing, Salesmanship and Negotiations, and Managing Finances.
The Export Coaching Program: Boost Camp sessions will be held in Manila on 13-15 August 2012 / 8:30AM – 6:00PM at the Traders Hotel, and Cebu on 28-30 August 2012 / 8:30AM – 6:00PM at the Cebu Parklane International Hotel.
Tapped to do the coaching are founding member and director Francis J. Kong of Inspire Leaderhip Consultancy, mentors Delfin Bibat of the Foreign Buyers Association of the Philippines, Benedicto L. Cid Jr. of Mansmith and Fielders, Teresita Dimaculangan of the Southern Metro-Manila Council of Metro-Manila Region, Francisco Lapid of Brother Bo Sanchez’s Truly Rich Club and Rodolfo Mallari of Triple R Acres, Raju Mandhyan of the Association of Appreciative Inquiry Philippines, and micro-finance and small enterprise development advocate Reuel Virtucio of GoNegosyo.
